Message from the President

In this time of strife and need, it is an honor for the members of LHAS to continue to provide educational, financial, medical and social services to our community. As President of LHAS, I am humbled to be in a leadership position in this remarkable organization. Our membership is diverse, hardworking, professional, and above all, passionate about our mission to serve. It is my intention to support our members, staff and community partners in order that the fruitful work of our dedicated foremothers will continue to thrive.

LHAS has been a community partner for over 110 years. Our members have supported our mission with several million volunteer work hours and have raised well over 13.5 million dollars. Our efforts support not only LHAS programs, but the programs of many other like-minded organizations that we are pleased to call our partners and friends. The impact of our work is exponential when we collaborate and we continually seek such opportunities.

On behalf of the members and the staff of LHAS, I extend our sincere gratitude to all that support us and our mission to help those in need. I encourage non-members to learn more about LHAS and join this prolific organization.
