Welcome to the Planned Giving Section of the Ladies Hospital Aide Society (LHAS) website! When creating your estate plans, did you know that you could leave a gift to this wonderful organization in your Will? From simple bequests, to more complex trust agreements, we will help you identify the best ways to maximize your philanthropic goals and realize the benefits of giving.

The following types of commitments below are just a sample of the many ways to remember the LHAS in your estate plans:

  • A bequest provision in your Will or revocable trust;
  • A life-income gift that names the LHAS as a remainder beneficiary, such as a charitable remainder trust, or a charitable gift annuity;
  • A charitable lead trust that provides income to the LHAS for a donor’s lifetime or a defined number of years;
  • A gift of life insurance;

Your willingness to give to the LHAS encourages others to follow your example. Of course, if you have not yet included the LHAS in your plans and you would like to explore the best options for you and your family, do not hesitate to contact the LHAS office and we’ll connect you with a planned giving resource to help you get started. LHAS Special Gift Fund Cards are beautiful note cards and a way to support our many charitable causes. When you purchase a card, you are also making a donation to LHAS and can make that donation in someone’s name, memory or for your own personal use. You can have LHAS send out a card for any type of occasion—such as birthdays, anniversaries, condolences, or just to let someone know you are thinking of them. And you can order packages of blank cards for yourself or as gifts. They are truly lovely and appropriate for any number of uses.

You can order cards by filling out the form below, or by calling the office at 412-648-6106. We will even write them out for you with the message you give us over the phone, by email or by fax, and send them out in the mail. Never has being both charitable and thoughtful been so easy!

The cards come in two sizes– the $10 card is 5 by 7 inches and the $5 card is 4 1/4 by 5 1/2 inches.
