Message from the Vice President

LHAS Presby Floral and Gift Shop, LHAS Windows on Seventh, LHAS Beauty Salon and Positive Image, and LHAS Cafe on Seventh offer unique shopping and dining experiences, as well as Beauty salon and wig services for employees, visitors and patients.

Proceeds from these hospital operations provide a significant source of financial support for many of the LHAS community programs and projects.

LHAS has the perfect opportunity for people who have some time to spare. Windows on Seventh, located at UPMC Montefiore, is in need of volunteers for a morning or afternoon shift once a week. Find a friendto buddy up with if you like. In return, you will receive lunch and parking. For more information and to volunteer, please contact me at 412-648-6107.

Don’t forget, LHAS members receive a 10% discount and Board members receive a 20% discount everyday at both of the LHAS gift shops.

LHAS Gift Cards

LHAS has prepaid, reloadable gift cards available for purchase and use at the LHAS Gift Shops in Mortefiore and Presbyterian Hospitals. LHAS Gift Cards can be bought in denominations of up to $250 and LHAS will waive any activation fees.

This card is a great idea for someone’s birthday, as a special thank you for a fellow employee, or as a gift for the holidays. You can also buy a card for yourself and others on our monthly Customer Appreciation Day through payroll deduction.

LHAS encourages employees and volunteers to use the prepaid, reloadable LHAS Gift Card for everyday purchases. The purchase of these gift cards, in lieu of using personal banking cards, helps to generate additional revenue for LHAS supported community programs and social services by eliminating LHAS payment of individual transaction banking fees.

What a perfect way to make a difference!
