LHAS Receives Check and Thank You from the Retention Council!

Every year all the nursing service lines as well as Nursing Education/Resource Unit/Nursing Regulatory, Surgical Services, Ambulatory, Imaging departments and LHAS prepare baskets of various themes to celebrate Nurses’ Week (May 6-12, 2011). The baskets are raffled off to raise money for a special cause and/or organization.

This year, to honor the long relationship between the two organizations, the Retention Council awarded the proceeds from the raffle to LHAS! A check for $2000 was given to Executive Director Dee Dee Troutman at the UPMC Montefiore/Presbyterian Retention Council meeting June 21, 2011. LHAS is very grateful for this honor and expresses its thanks to the Retention Council and all the wonderful members of the nursing staffs!
